Managing the liability side of banks’ balance sheets has shifted from the background to the forefront. Additionally, some institutions’ asset yields are not keeping pace with the increase in their cost of funds. Examine current trends in non-maturity deposits and their potential impact to banks’ cost of funds and interest rate risk. 2:00 p.m. - Mitigating Organizational Risk via Cyber Threat Hunting

All domestic organizations are inundated with more frequent, severe and sophisticated cyber-attacks. Security operations use a mix of automated, detective and preventative tools to identify and respond to the threats. Offensive cyber action (hacking back) is not necessarily a recommended or legal activity; however, when an active defense is employed in the form of cyber threat hunting, it virtualizes weaponization of the defensive tactics. Explore the current threat landscape, tool sets and defensive responses employed to disrupt advanced persistent threats early in the cyber kill chain.
