Description

2017 is likely to be a very important year for tax practitioners and their clients. A sea change has occurred with control of Congress and the Presidency moving to the GOP from the Democrats. Not only that, the President has made changing the tax code for individuals and corporations a centerpiece of his election campaign and term in office. In addition, Obamacare, with its impact on individuals and businesses seems destined to be eliminated and replaced by something that may or may not impact the tax code. All-in-all, while the exact changes are not clear yet, it is fair to assume that the 2017 Tax Update will be full of changes.

For practitioners it’s a challenge to stay current or ahead of the curve! This ACPEN course will include a panel of national tax practitioners and experts reviewing the latest legislative and regulatory developments affecting individuals, corporations and other business entities.  Legislative changes in the eighteen months leading up to the Update will be examined.

The panel will focus on providing practical advice useful to practitioners during the upcoming tax season, beginning in January 2018, as well as December 2017 year-end planning.

Of course, the panel will also explain the latest IRS initiatives, new regulations, revenue rulings and court decisions that impact the way you advise your clients.

Our experts will focus on the most important tax developments that will be in place by December 2017. We can't tell you now what all the changes will be but we can give you the best information anywhere on current tax issues…current to the day of the broadcast! Explore in detail the latest statutory, regulatory and judicial developments impacting tax issues. Get the latest details and all the developments in this up-to-the minute tax program that you won't want to miss.
