Description

This course focuses on how to report cash and credit transactions by utilizing Form 1099-K. The IRS is developing specific business models to determine cash vs. credit sales, so it is important for clients to be aware. Because there are increasingly more online third-party sales, Form 1099-K has expanded over time and it is important that you, as the practitioner, become comfortable with the details. You will need to guide your client as they receive these forms, helping them navigate the reporting of debit and credit card transactions.

You may take this course à la carte or as a full program.

The information in this course will aid you as the practitioner in educating clients of their filing options and ensure they properly ascertain their financial position and qualifying factors during tax time.

**Please Note:  If you need credit reported to the IRS for this IRS approved program, please download the IRS CE request form on the Course Materials Tab and submit to leighanne.conroy@acpen.com.
