Description

As professionals, CPAs often face complex and challenging ethical situations.  This course provides a framework to assist CPAs address their ethical and regulatory obligations and comply with professional requirements.  Through interactive discussion, we will explore recent trends in professional ethics along with the application of specific rules and requirements applicable to CPAs.  Our focus will be on the obligations imposed on CPAs by the Florida Statutes, the Rules of the Florida Board of Accountancy, and the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, the FGFOA Code of Ethics, and Chapter 112, F.S.  

This newly enhanced course is specifically designed for professionals working in government.  The course fulfills the biennial ethics requirement for Florida CPAs and CGFOs of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association.
