This intermediate level class is about investing money. If students hope for a CNBC/Wall Street majority view lecture, their expectations will not be met. (For that approach, see Robert Shiller's 2001 book, Irrational Exuberance.) This class will be a minority view offering, related to the current state of markets, concepts, and macro-economic issues. The class will focus on suggestions in the areas of equities, fixed income, and commodities, including precious metals. “The market, like the Lord, helps those who help themselves.
