Description

The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 repealed the TEFRA Partnership Audit regime that we’ve known for 30+ years. Beginning in 2018, any audit adjustments will normally be assessed and collected from the Partnership in the year of audit, not the partners in the year under audit! The IRS has issued proposed regulations which flesh out the new regime, including available elections to push the tax out to the partners, and the option to elect in early. This webinar will examine these new rules, and discuss possible modifications to your partnership and LLC operating agreements.
