Description

With all the news about the salary portion of the FLSA overtime exemptions, there has been less focus on the job duty requirements of these exemptions.  As indicated in the November 2016 injunction halting the salary changes, though, the job duty requirements are by far the more important parts of the exemptions and HR professionals should fully understand them.  This presentation will focus on the details and specifics of the executive, administrative and professional exemptions ‚Äì otherwise known as the white collar exemptions.  Attendees will learn all about these exemptions and the regulatory interpretations and how to determine whether or not jobs are exempt under one of these exemptions.
